Virtual 3d fly-by has revolutionised the way our clients receive and view our completed survey.
After standard topographical surveying has been completed, the user can ’fly-through’ the combined multi-layered view using the keyboard cursor keys, game pad or joystick. The fly-by route may be stored for playback either as an AVI (Windows movie file) or a LSS Virtual model (LVM) which, with the new LSS 3-D Vantage program, enables third parties to fly-through the models on their own computer.
After design of the landform / buildings is complete this can be simply merged into a copy of the existing situation, this provides a ’before and after’; excellent use for demonstrating designs to Planning Authorities or other members of the design team.
